The Evart Review: October 1909

A pretty home wedding occurred, Saturday evening, Oct. 2, 1909, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Millard Peel in Avondale, when their daughter, Miss Mildred became the bride of Ford Grinnell. The ceremony was performed by Rev. JW. McLean, pastor of the Avondale Free Baptist Church, in the presence of the family and near relatives. Miss Helen Grinnell, acted as bridesmaid, and Stanley Peel as best man. After the ceremony the guests sat down to a sumptuous wedding supper. The young couple received many usefull and costly presents from their numerous friends. The bride is one of the most sucessful teachers in Osceola County Schools, while the groom is one of Avondale's most respected young men and a successful farmer.
