her obituary was published on 27 Oct 1951 in Grand Rapids, Kent County, Michigan, USA.
Mrs. Flora C. Smith, aged 73 of 338 Calkins, SE, entered into rest suddenly Friday evening. Surviving are two daughter's Mrs. Theron Armstrong, Mrs. Beatrice Shampine, both of Grand Rapids; two sons, Earl Peel of Grand Haven, Clyde A. Peel of Spring Lake; eleven grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 1:30 at the Eggebeen Funeral Home, 330 Eastern ave., SE, where Mrs. Smith reposes. Interment in Coopersville.

Flora married Perry Judson Peel, son of Charles Peel and Luceille Ann Leeman, on 10 Nov 1898 in Hartwick Township, Osceola County, Michigan, USA. Friends and relatives (about eighty in number) were bidden to the home of Mr. and Mrs Chas Peel, Thursday, Nov. 10, to witness the marriage of their son Perry, to Miss Flora Bly, of Coopersville, Mich. Rev Hooper officiated. A very enhoyable time was had and a bountiful supper served. Mr. and Mrs. Perry Pell will reside in Temple for the winter, then will move to their farm on Sec 15. May happiness and prosperity attend them.

Flora also married Jack Smith.
