Obituary: Grand Haven, MI May 5, 1958

Grand Haven (Special) Earl Richard Peel, 53, of 726 Grant St. Grand Haven, died at 11:16 p.m. Saturday at Municipal Hospital in Grand Haven.

He was taken to the hospital Saturday afternoon and had been in ill health for the past two years.

He was born in Evart, Mich. He was a former partner of his brother, Clyde, in Peel Bros., Transfer and also former operator of the Peel Gulf Station in Grand Haven. He attended the local high school and was a member of the Presbyterian Church.

He is survived by his-wife, Rose, one daughter, Mrs. Morrie Stezer of Grand Haven; one grandson a brother and two sisters.

The body reposes at the Kinkema Funeral-Home where services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. with Dr. Wallace Roberston officiating. Burial will be in Lake Forest Cemetery.
