Edward Cunningham, was born in Palmyra, N.Y. Dec. 27, 1842, and died Feb. 17, 1914, ath the home of his son in Seneca, Michigan, where he had gone for a short staty, aged 71 years, 1 month and 20 days. Mr. Cunningham came to Michigan in 1865, and became a resident of Hartwick in 1877, where he made his home for 25 years. Since 1902 he lived in Evart. He married Mis Ida Woodel, of Pierson, in March 1877. To them were born two daughters and one son, namely, William C. of Seneca; Mrs. Howard Peel of Marion, and a daughter who died in infancy. He was the grandfather of seven children, three boys and four girls. He was sole survivor of his fathers family, save one sister, Mrs. Ella Emory of the state of Wyoming.
