William, I didn't see your e-mail address so decided to post here. My e-mail addresses are brandal@net one.com and viviani2000@hotmail.com. You can use either one. Ellen Jane Buss is my husband's ggrandmother. We live in the house that Daniel Brandal and Ellen built in 1899, here in Marion, MI. I have her birth-baptism certificate. It gave me her birth date, parents and who the minister or doctor was at that time. What I know is that sometime after her birth, (may have been when she was in her teens even) that they moved to MI. to Three Rivers, where she married Daniel Brandal. Then after (I am assuming) their two sons were born, they moved to Kent county, until about 1895-1899 they moved to where we live. I know they bought the land about 1898 and then built the house on it at that time or later. We did a little remodeling and found local newspapers dated about 1899. Would love to keep in touch.
